7 Signs You Need a New Kitchen

It’s a big and expensive renovation but there comes a time when you can’t put off installing a new kitchen. Just what are the signs that you need a new kitchen?

1. You’ve run out of counter space and storage

If you’re battling to clear worktops so you can bake or cook because you are ‘storing’ things on them, then the time has come to consider both de-cluttering and designing a new kitchen that is perfect for you and how you use the kitchen.

2. The layout is awkward

The way kitchens are designed today is very different to those from 20+ years ago. The technology we use is hugely different, for example, as well as how we cook and use the kitchen. In some older kitchens, the layout is no longer suitable and can, in some instances, be dangerous too. If work in the kitchen is no longer flowing, the time has come for a kitchen renovation.

Buyers will often look to the kitchen and bathroom as clues as to whether they want to buy a property or not but if the kitchen is old and outdated, then it will not only be making your home less appealing to buyers but also devalue your property. A high-quality kitchen will add £££s to your property.
